Contribute to This Grassroots Effort

Community contributions will be used solely to support the No Sheetz on Eastfield community effort and outreach, including:

• Yard signs and printed materials
• Petition and website costs
• QR codes, flyers, and other outreach materials
• Community education and outreach related to the proposed rezoning

Transparency & Accountability

Because this is a grassroots community effort funded by our neighbors, we believe you deserve to know how contributions are being used.

We will:

• Use community contributions only for legitimate expenses related to the No Sheetz on Eastfield effort
• Never use community contributions for personal expenses
• Never use community contributions to compensate organizers or volunteers
• Keep records of contributions received and campaign-related expenses
• Provide periodic financial updates showing the total amount raised, total spent, and remaining funds

Contributions are collected through a dedicated Stripe account used solely for this community effort. Campaign-related expenses are documented and reconciled against funds received. No funds will be used for personal expenses or personal compensation. No organizers or volunteers will receive compensation from community contributions.

If the campaign concludes with funds remaining, they will either be used for legitimate outstanding campaign expenses or, if appropriate, donated to the Charlotte District 4 Coalition which serves our immediate area for issues exactly like this one.

Note: All financial contributions made directly through the Change.org petition site are NOT managed with this site or these financials. This is a separate function that only Change.org controls, and those funds are directly used to promote the petition online and via social media. As of 8/13/26 there have been $116 in contributions through the Change.org petition.
